A Speaking Engagement & Fantastic Hotel in Munich

Speaking Engagements

I recently had the pleasure of traveling to Munich to speak at #SNMUC- Social Secrets to speak about Creating Remarkable Customer Experiences With content.

The event was fantastic, including the venue. I’ve never been to an event before that turned into a dance party after the networking hour!

Curious to hear my talk? It’s on YouTube (in English!). Check it out below.

Unfortunately, I did not get to see much of Munich. I had a huge project deadline, which meant that I was holed up in my hotel room. Luckily, I did an incredible job of selecting my hotel – Cortiina Hotel. I booked via Hotels.com because I love their loyalty program of 10 nights booked = 1 free night.

The hotel was lovely. I really enjoy boutique design hotels and Cortiina Hotel did not disappoint. I even tried the breakfast buffet one morning, which was also very good. If you need to be holed up at a hotel to get tons of work done amid a stylish setting, this is it.

Luckily, I did get out of the hotel for a few good meals in the evenings, including this one at a classic German restaurant, Weisses Bräuhaus, where I enjoyed a traditional dish with dumplings and chanterelles.
